The Latino Working Class Project surveyed 600 Latino likely voters across California to better understand how economic pressures, confidence in government, and shifting partisan attachments are shaping the state’s Latino electorate.
​
The findings point to a central tension: Latino voters continue to believe deeply in the promise of economic mobility, even as confidence weakens that government and political leaders are creating the conditions to achieve it.
