California is entering a period of profound economic change. New industries and technologies are reshaping how we work, while rising costs and persistent barriers to economic mobility are changing what it means for working families to get ahead.
The Latino Working Class Project, in partnership with Pasadena City College, invites leaders from across California to California’s Next Economy: Building Pathways to Economic Mobility Regional Summit — a cross-sector conversation about the choices, investments, and partnerships that will shape California’s economic future.
Bringing together leaders from business, higher education, labor, philanthropy, workforce development, and the public sector, the summit will explore how California can expand economic opportunity, ensure working people have pathways into the industries and careers shaping the state’s future, and build the talent, institutions, and regional partnerships necessary to compete in a changing economy.
